Steung Siem Reap is a luxury hotel with French characteristics which is actually rebuilt from the 1920's when it was originally constructed during the French colonial era. Iron balconies, wooden windows, wooden doors all add to the unique French style of this hotel.
The hotel is located right in the heart of the town center next to the Old Market which is considered the main orientation point to navigate the town. From the town center the Angkor temples are just 7km away.
The hotel has 76 rooms..
The best rooms in the hotel are the 4 suite rooms. There are 4 of these suites all of which have the same layout in the way of a luxurious and spacious bedroom, however 2 are more superior with a separate living areas and balconies with differing views across the twon center. We book the deluxe rooms as standard.
The hotel has a swimming pool, spa and gymnasium. There is also a business center, restaurant and bar.

The best location if you want to spend time in the city centre, and great value for what we would call a very good 3*/low 4* hotel. Understandably, it is often full, even in low season.
"We stayed 7 days in this hotel It is very well located: in the heart of the city centre, next to the old market restaurants and shops. The bedrooms are comfortable, clean and big. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. I would strongly recommend you stay at this hotel as most of the others are outside of the city centre and you will have to take a a Tuk-Tuk driver, who are extremely irritating. The only bad points were; it was difficult to communicate with the staff because they hardly speak and understand english."
