Day 12	Visit idyllic Rabbit Island and savour Kep's famous mouth watering seafood from the comfort of your own beachside hammock
Day 13	Take a guided nature walk on Kep Hill to bird watch and enjoy stunning views of the coastline, later on sail or kayak in calm waters
Day 14	Return to Phnom Penh by private transfer for your onward flight

Daily Details

Day 1 - Arrive in Siem Reap

Morning:
We meet you from your flight with a private transfer to your chosen hotel. You may wish to consider our VIP arrival option and be whisked past the queues of tourists who wait in line for their Visas with our fast-track visa and baggage collection process.

Afternoon:
In the afternoon you will have your first taste of the Angkor temples. Explore the sprawling labyrinth of Banteay Kdei with the Hall of the Dancing Girls. Then enjoy sunset drinks with a leisurely boat ride on the moat of Angkor Thom and view hidden elements of the ancient Khmer water systems, relaxing with G&T in hand and accompanied by the sound of bird song.

Day 2 - Secret Temples of the Forest

Morning:
Rise early to beat the crowds at the photogenic Ta Prohm temple of "Tomb Raider" fame. Coordination with the driver allows you to wind your way through temple sites without having to retrace your steps. Undisturbed by crowds of tourists you can better appreciate the interplay of man and nature. Following mid morning coffee at the temples walk through the forest to the seldom-visited Ta Nei temple before ending the morning on top Ta Keo, an imposing temple mountain with challenging steps.

Afternoon:
After lunch and perhaps a swim or massage, enter the ancient city of Angkor Thom at the Victory gate before uniquely walking along the 8m high wall through the forest to the seldom visited Death Gate. Passing behind the terraces of Elephants and Leper King walk though the shaded parkland to Phimeanakas and Baphuon temples, learning about the trees and fruits used locally. Bayon temple rounds off our afternoon with its iconic carved faces. In the evening, take a moto-remorque ("tuk-tuk") tour finishing at Gyeongju, "Night Town" - the large bustling fair that occurs every evening on the road to the temples, where you can dance, eat and relax with the locals

Day 3 - Angkor Wat & Grand Circuit

Morning:
You can opt for an early start for breath-taking sunrise exploration of Angkor Wat, one of mankind's architectural gems. Take advantage of the relative cool and tranquility of the morning to explore the central complex and surrounding bas-reliefs, taking either a local breakfast or returning to the hotel for a late breakfast. After such an early start you can decide if you feel like exploring Siem Reap town in the mid-late morning, more temple sites or relax with a massage and swim before lunch.

Afternoon:
Travel by car to Preah Khan Temple, a large and beautiful ruin north of the old city with the only remaining two-storey Angkor structure. Especially good for birding, the temple does not get too busy. We continue to the unique and charming Neak Pean, before seeking out the photogenic tree at Ta Som.

Day 4 - Rural Scenes and Remote temples

Morning:
Across ancient reservoirs -long since devoid of water- through pretty villages and rice paddies, visit the fine carvings on the riverbed of Kbal Spean. Medium fitness is required for the 3km jungle walk to this sacred site, where you can refresh in the cool waters (depending on season).

Afternoon:
On the back you'll stop at a local restaurant for lunch (own cost) before visiting Banteay Srei , a small pink sandstone temple with the most exquisite, deep and beautiful carvings. Returning to Siem Reap you can visit Banteay Samre, a small temple built by Suryavarman II in a similar style to Angkor Wat.

Day 5 - Travel by Boat to Battambang

Travel by private boat across the Tonle Sap and up the Sangker River to Battambang, the centre of Cambodia's fertile North West. You will make several scheduled stops along this beautiful river, and can additionally choose to stop as and when you please.

Day 6 - Bamboo train and countryside

Morning:
In the morning walk through the sleepy riverside town of Battambang and admire the well-preserved French colonial buildings and explore some of the local markets, before a ride on the famous bamboo train.

Afternoon:
After lunch, explore the lush surrounding countryside, taking in Phnom Sampeau, Phnom Banan and Cambodia's first winery. The Phare Ponleu Selpak circus performs on Mondays and Thursdays, and a visit will be scheduled subject to your travel plans.

Day 7 - By road to Phnom Penh

Morning:
Explore the villages, markets and rural scenery along National Road No 5 by private car. Your driver will stop at your request at some of the villages and towns producing traditional and modern Khmer crafts, including the famous marble work of Pursat, and the ceramics of Kompong Chhnang.

Afternoon:
Arrive in the city in the late afternoon, which is the perfect time to enjoy a luxury sunset river cruise.

Day 8 - Jewels of Phnom Penh

Morning:
Gain an introduction to the city's history and architecture by taking a carbon-friendly tour by cyclo in the morning, finishing at the National Museum and the nearby boutiques and galleries on street 178.

Afternoon:
Continuing after lunch, move on to the magnificent Royal Palace, and Silver Pagoda in its compound with its floor of over 5,000 silver tiles.

Day 9 - Phnom Penh discovery

Morning:
Take a boat up the Mekong river to learn about Cambodian arts and crafts with a fascinating visit to the traditional silk-weaving village of Okgna Tei, on Koh Dach island in the river.

Afternoon:
In the afternoon, you can visit the Russian Market, once world-renowned for its gemstones, or the art deco Central Market. In the evening visit the Sovannah Phum theatre (certain days of the week only) for a wonderful display of traditional music, dance and shadow puppetry.

Day 10 - Funan and Water Chenla civilizations

Depart Phnom Penh after breakfast to explore the waterways and temples of the Funan and Water Chenla civilizations, by speed boat to Phnom Da and Angkor Borei, on the way to Kampot and Kep on the south coast.

Day 11 - Kep & Kampot

Morning:
Relax and explore delightfully sleepy coastal towns Kep and Kampot. Scattered throughout both is a mix of faded colonial French architecture, which is wonderful to visit and photograph. Look out for the bullet-scarred and long abandoned holiday residence of the King.

Afternoon:
Visit the salt plains around Kep and local pepper farms that are famous in Kampot to collect your own! For dinner in Kep head to the unlikely looking crab shacks on the beach front and watch the crab pots being brought in with the freshest possible mouth watering seafood cooked direct to your plate.

Day 12 - Koh Tonsay (Rabbit Island)

Morning:
A great day trip from the mainland, take a short 20 minute boat trip out to idyllic Koh Tonsay, Rabbit Island. Perhaps walk, wade and swim around the island (which takes around two hours) or just laze the day away on the hammocks provided along the beach front.

Here you can savour Kep's famous seafood from the comfort of your own beachside hammock and you can work off your fresh seafood lunch by taking the plunge in the warm waters off the island, an excellent place for swimming and snorkeling, children and adults alike.

Day 13 - Kep Nature walk

Morning:
Enjoy a tranquil guided nature walk around Kep hill which offers stunning views of the coastline and opportunities to bird watch - you'll have the chance to spot hornbills

Afternoon:
Enjoy a sumptuous lunch at Knai Bang Chatt and indulge in a 1 hour spa treatment. Later on, enjoy sailing in calm waters and rent a Hobie cat or kayak (extra cost) to appreciate more of the coastline.

Day 14 - Return & Depart from Phnom Penh

Wrap up your holiday with a private transfer to Phnom Penh for your onward afternoon/evening flight.

We accept credit card (Visa or MasterCard) or cash payment (USD) on arrival for the total amount, unless if we book domestic flights for you, where we will require a 1/3 deposit 1 month prior to your arrival. If you would like to pay by credit card, there is an additional 2.1% transaction charge we are required to add.
