Angkor Wat tours and Cambodia travel information with the country specialist

What is the best way to travel in Cambodia?

Buses and cars are the most common means of transport in Cambodia, except for the Phnom Penh-Siem Reap flight connection (Sihanoukville airport is due to re-open in 2010). We arrange helicopter transport also. Bus services are the method that most Cambodians use for long distance travel, and are also widely used by visitors to Cambodia. Provided you don't join a cheap scam, bus services are generally air-conditioned and comfortable. Another alternative especially when traveling Phnom Penh to Siem Reap is the boat, althoug this service is limited to seasonal changes.

For travelling within the cities taxis are very rarely seen and the most common way of transport are tuk-tuks or motodup with drivers. For more information visit our land transport in Cambodia page.
