Angkor Riviera Hotel is another competitively-priced 3-4* Siem Reap hotel that is well-located on the river front a short walk from the main dining area located around "Pub Street". The hotel is clean and modern, with all the facilties one would expect of a 4* hotel.
The hotel is located near the crossroads of Pokambor Avenue and Samdech Tep Vong Street, upstream of the Angkor Trade Centre shopping mall, and downstream of the FCC Angkor hotel, a short walk from the Central Market, and small boutiques and eateries in the area, and about 5 minutes from the Old Market and Pub Street area.
There are 191 rooms in the hotel, mainly superior with some deluxe rooms. We book the deluxe rooms as standard, when available. There are also several family rooms available.
The best rooms in the hotel are the Riviera Suites, which are larger and more comfortably appointed than the Deluxe rooms, but are rooms rather than suites.
The hotel is well-appointed, with one of the better massage and spa centers in its class, basic swimming pool and fitness facilities, and a very good array of business, conference and banqueting facilities.
While the Riviera is a place that just concentrates on doing everything well, in a good location, and at a good price - we do love the jacuzzi in the pool.
"This hotel is much better than the average hotel in its class. The room are clean, large and comfortable, with very nice bathrooms. The food at the breakfast was very good. The location is within a very short walk to the old market and the tourist restaurant and bar area. We were able to get a late check out for a small fee which allowed us to spend our last day touring and still clean up before flying out.
Liked - This hotel is located close to the old market and the Pub Street restaurant row. The hotel is clean and is maintained well. It is better than most hotels in its class. The breakfast is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly. "
