Yaklom Crater Lake is one of the most spectacular of all the stunning
The atmosphere of this lake is extremely peaceful, sunsets here shine across the shimmering water, and each morning you will wake up to the sounds of the jungle waking up with you - the surrounding nature and hill tribes of the region make this lake's setting that little more special.
A visit to the lake itself does not include an entrance fee, however some of the surrounding attractions on the lake's periphery will incur small charges around US 1, for example the tribal cemetaries.
Yaklom Crater Lake in Ratanakiri
The lake is great to visit at any time of the year. Water levels rise in the wet season and tides may be present, but will be very mild and will not affect swimming. Accommodation is available near the lake should you wish to relax a while.
