Veranda Natural Resort

Veranda Natural Resort in Kep is a 3 hectares compound with bungalows in a quite hillside location amidst green jungle scenery. It has great views over the sea and the bungalows are linked via raised wooden platforms.

Location

The resort is locateds about 10-15 minute car ride from the town center and Kep beach.

Rooms

The resort has standard bungalows, deluxe bungalows, a superior suite bungalow, an ocean lodge bungalow, an ocean family bungalow, ocean hillside bungalow, vacation villa, a Deluxe family retreat and the residence. Each one of them has a private veranda and bathroom with hot shower. Some of them come with fan and others have air conditioning units.

Best Rooms

The best bungalow available is the Residence, which houses seven suites and its own terrace. The rooms are furnished with wooden furniture and have bathrooms with hot shower. Excellent views over the sea from the terrace and private balconies.

Facilities

The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi in the rooms, motorbike / bicycle rental available and laundry service.

Highlights

The highlight of this peaceful resort is its location amidst the lush greenery of Hillside mountain and the great views over the sea from the verandas. Excellent spot of sunsets.

"After spending one disappointing night in Sihanoukville which I thought was one of the tackiest beach resorts I have ever been to in the world (and I have been to a lot of beach resorts!!) Kep and The Veranda Hotel were a lifesaver. Kep is small and potentially an elegant resort if they "do the right thing." The bungalows that Veranda offers go from very basic little tree houses almost to quite lavish rooms and a beautiful villa. However, everything is simply done and it is not over the top at all. They have just 2 months ago opened a beautiful large swimming pool which I personally had a hard time leaving for any activity around Kep. I passed on Rabbit Island but did do the walk around Kep National Park which they estimated to be a 2 1/2 hour walk that I did in half the time. You go at your own pace. I found it a very easy walk... The owners Lili and Mab are terrific people and deserve all the success they get of creating this wonderful resort literally out of the jungle."
